OSHA10/OSHA30 & Fall Protection Competent Person Install Crew

Each member of our installation crew has an OSHA10 and OSHA30 certification. This dual certification ensures that our team possesses a thorough understanding of both basic and advanced fall safety issues. Also, all of our fall protection installers hold an OSHA Competent Person certification, emphasizing their expertise in recognizing and addressing fall hazards effectively.

Pre-installation coordination

A pivotal stage of the fall protection system installation journey is the pre-installation coordination, where we carefully plan and communicate with clients to guarantee alignment. We also obtain all necessary permits and regulatory approvals in advance to facilitate a smooth installation process.

Plus, we stay in tune with your team to schedule installation activities at the most convenient times, minimizing disruptions to your operations.

Site-Specific Plans

We’ll conduct a detailed site assessment to identify potential fall hazards, gauge working conditions, and determine the specific needs of the project. This includes evaluating the structural characteristics of the job site, such as the height of work areas, the complexity of access points, and more. The more information we have in the beginning, the better we can design your ideal customized fall protection solution.

Material Delivery

We handle the logistics of material delivery, coordinating the trucking from the fabricator to the job site. We have licensed lift operators who, upon request, can offload a delivery, making the process easier for the client because their staff doesn't need to worry about it.

In addition, we both receive and ship. Sometimes, we have products shipped to our location, and we preassemble them before bringing them to the site. Other times, we have materials shipped directly to the site, receive them there, and transport them to the roof or the installation area.

Certified lift equipment operators

Our certified lift equipment operators are well-versed in the installation process and have the necessary training and certifications to safely handle and maneuver heavy loads. Our team must undergo specialized training and pass written and practical exams to demonstrate their knowledge and competency in operating the equipment safely. The training covers topics such as machine operation, maintenance, safety protocols, and emergency procedures.

Crane coordination

Effective crane coordination involves identifying all necessary lifting tasks and determining the appropriate type and size of crane needed for each task. It also involves establishing a communication system between the crane operator and other workers on-site to make sure there’s proper signaling and coordination during lifting operations. Additionally, it requires consideration of factors such as weather conditions, site layout, and equipment availability to optimize crane usage.

Welded install

We can tackle welded installs for when you need two or more metal pieces joined together. The process typically involves heating the metal pieces to their melting point and fusing them with a filler material, creating a permanent bond between the pieces, resulting in a solid and sturdy installation. Welded installs require specialized training and certification along with regular inspections and maintenance.

Post-installation documentation

Keeping documentation after the installation is vital for a variety of reasons. For one, by maintaining records of safety inspections, equipment certifications, and incident reports, recurring issues or hazards are addressed. Beyond that, regular reviews and updates to your fall protection protocols based on documentation can help improve safety measures and prevent future incidents.
